Bookings and services
Whether your goals are to look better, feel better or perform better Personal Training is the fastest way to achieve them. It’s no longer for the rich and famous, it’s for you. Before you begin training we will meet for a health and fitness consultation, where we will establish your goal and how you are going to achieve them. This is also a great opportunity for us to get a feel for each other and make sure that we can work together. Following this consultation we will put a plan together to help you achieve your goals.In your plan will be one or more Personal Training sessions each week. The sessions are tailored to you to help you achieve your goal. Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes depending on your goal and available time.Check out what clients have had to say about their sessions and results in the Testimonial section.
Small Group Training
Also known as Semi-Private Personal Training you train in groups of 2 to 4 people. You can arrange to get a group together with friends or colleagues or join one of our existing groups. Due to the small numbers the sessions are tailored to the groups/individuals needs making it much more personal than a Group Fitness Class.
ClassesYou can choose from a wide range of classes. We run two main classes, with class size limited to between 6 and 10 people.
HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training is exactly as it sounds;
A 30 minute Interval Training workout! Although the description says “High Intensity” this class is suitable for all fitness levels. You can work as hard as you want to. The exercises are predominately body weight and done against time rather than for repetitions. For each class you will receive a ‘score’ which you keep so at the next class you can aim to improve upon. Recording how you are doing helps to better motivate many of our regulars.
Punch @ Lunch (aka Boxing)
Be it morning, lunchtime or evening Punch @ Lunch is a non-contact Boxing Class where participants mix pad holding and boxing. Aimed at improving your fitness levels, Punch @ Lunch is simple, safe and fun. The boxing sessions are varied and include many body weight exercises. All equipment is provided although you are welcome to bring your own gloves.
As we all know exercise is a great way of reducing work and life related stresses. Under the Stress Management Exercise Association Endorsed Programme (SMEAEP) an employer can now offer Stress Management Programmes to employees that are both FBT free and Tax deductible. The Programme can include Personal Training, Boot Camps, Small Group Training, Seminars and more. They are adapted to each employers needs. For more information you can go to www.stressmanagementexercise.co.nz or contact James to discuss a Stress Management Programme for your company. SMEAEP is also available for people who are self employed or contracting.
Having had a desk job for a number of years I have experienced first hand the pressure and stress that this can cause. I also know how good exercise is for improving productivity,concentration and teamwork and morale. With this in mind I offer a range of programmes for companies who want to improve productivity, team moral or just encourage employees to get away from the desk for an hour or so. These programmes include: outdoor boot camp style training sessions, indoor circuits making use of boardrooms, transformation style challenges and Punch at Lunch, a 30 minute non-contact boxing workout. Each programme can be run for groups of 2 or more. Please contact me for more information. “We recruited James to assist in warming down runners at our Auckland Marathon activity.James was proactive in approaching runners and was attentive in his approach, often tailoring stretches specifically to individuals. He was professional and friendly at all times.We would certainly use James again for any fitness based activity, and would recommend him without hesitation.” Louise Rice One Partners.
